HOMESTUDY!!!!!!!! (finally)
I guess good things come to those who wait..... Our home visits are next Wednesday and Friday!!!!!!!! I am super excited!!!!!!!! And nervous. I have no freakin' idea what to expect. Any ideas and suggestions are appreciated! I know that it isn't anything to freak out over and we should be super casual about it but, ahhhhhh!!!!! Anybody wanna come help me clean???? lol

You'll be fine. Just treat her like a normal guest! Be your normal charming self. They don't expect the house to be like a hospital or anything.
LOL on the cleaning comment. We cleaned for three days and our SW didn't even leave our living room! :)

I worried about the homestudy too, but it was nothing! We had the house cleaned top to bottom and our SW only did a quick walk-through and spent the rest of the time going over our paperwork. Just pick up your skibbies!
Congratulations! Everything will really start moving fast after the homestudy...well until you submit the dossier, then the long wait begins!

Use the visit to ask questions that you have about adoption, transition, what to share or not with people once you're home. They are a wealth of information. BTW My social worker didn't leave the living room either.
Ypou know I freaked out and it was not bad at all. Just be yourself and they will love you. You are well on your way to that baby boy.
